Killick Hinds "delightednessicistednessicist" at the TANK

I was the recording engineer for Killick Hinds in May at The TANK Center for Sonic Arts, one of the most creative and brilliant artist I've ever head the pleasure to work with.  

Killick plays the Walrus fretless electric guitar through a pantheon of effects, and triggered by myriad devices to inspire the strings to vibrate. Killick also works in the world of microtonality so just when you think you've spotted what he's up to it slowly bends out of your grasp. We recorded dry signals in addition to having microphones open in the TANK so he was able to mix various amounts of TANK into the picture.
